Like a lot of Chinese parks this is a square piece of land in the middle of downtown, so there are concrete and asphalt paths with some water (ponds, pools), a monument to the Taiwanese massacred by Mainland troops on Feb 28, 194?, and a traditional Chinese pagoda. Traditionally after midnight the action shifts to the street in front of the Presidential Palace, a few blocks away.
